We posted the first session at 8 AM, and it was silent almost all morning! Maybe this is a trend because it also happened in Focus Group 1. We sent out reminder messages later in the afternoon.
About 6 people logged on later in the evening. We sent out another message around 6 to remind people about the discussion. The messages are probably being a great help.
Some people called back, and we also called some others. These were the queries we received:
- One had forgotten his password.
- Some wanted their email addresses corrected because the ones they gave us were not the ones they use daily.
- One logged in, but went to the private messaging section and was not able to access the discussion forum again.
- Someone told me he was busy with election campaigns and promised to work on it the following day. That was after receiving our reminder, so our messages to some level do help.
- Others were busy and promised to log on by the end of the day.
- In contrast to FG 1, most people in this group did not struggle with how and what to do. Most of their answers were direct and did not necessarily need probing.
