We were able to retain people who had logged onto the discussion. However, they needed some follow up messages and calls to do it. This group seemed not as active as Focus Group 1. The reason may be that many of them were occupied or had a day job (They did not declare this to us, but this is what we interpreted from the phone calls). Many didn’t find time to log on, even though, during the calls, they had expressed a desire and an enthusiasm to be part of the program. Thankfully, we didn’t record any technological challenges in this group. We should give more thought to doing the focus group discussions nearer to a weekend.
