We posted the third session of the focus group discussion today at 8:15 am, and it was almost silent all morning! This may be a trend because it also happened during Content Advisory Team 1. About 3 people logged on in the afternoon, after we had rang most of the participants reminding them about the discussion. These calls seem to be important for increasing focus group participation.
Relatively, this group did not have many people struggling to access the focus group board, if at all. We had several participants who tried to register for the focus group with their real names instead of choosing other names, but we rang them and gave them adequate explanation about it. When moderating the discussion, I also realized that participants sometimes pick and answer only one or two of the questions. So I guided them on answering all the questions.
Apart from that, some participants were still too busy to join the discussion. Others were not able to go back to the sms message review and fill in the gaps they had left. We again made follow-up phone calls to those participants who have not completed responding to sms, and they promised to finish up.
