Today we enrolled one participant. Two others whom we reached out to did not answer their phones. We are now down to the hardest-to-reach demographics to ensure diversity in our participants, so we are being more selective about who we recruit.
Our programmer also added each participant’s unique Code of Conduct link that the Research Assistants can access from our online Control Panel. We called all three participants who are still pending on agreeing to the Code of Conduct. For one of these participants, we were able to get their agreement after reading the Code of Conduct to them over the telephone. We will continue to reach out to the other two participants tomorrow.
Our participants have also begun receiving a short survey via SMS, once they reach the one-week mark in the program. However, none of the four participants who have begun receiving this short survey have answered them. We will be calling them to remind them to complete the survey. We are also exploring the option of offering to complete these short surveys via telephone call, although it would require the Research Assistants to type open-ended answers verbatim.
